100,000 Expected to Sign Up for Quran, Etrat Exam in Iran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The number of those who have registered to take the 19th national Quran and Etrat examination in Iran has reached 80,000.

 

According to the organizers, the number is expected to exceed 100,000 when the registration concludes less than a week later.

The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance organizes the exams annually.

This year, due to the coronavirus restrictions, they will be held virtually.

There will be 14 categories, including 9 in the Quran memorization section, 3 in the field of the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and 2 in the field of Quranic concepts and Quran translation.

The date of the exams, which will be in February, is going to be announced later.
