Recitation of Surah Al-Balad by Siddiq Sayyid El-Minshawi, Sons (+Video)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Siddiq Sayyid El-Minshawi was a wel-known Egyptian Qari.
He was born in 1898 and died in 1984 at the age of 96.
His two sons Mohammed and Mahmoud were also prominent Quran reciters.
In the following footage, Siddiq and his two sons recite verses from Surah Al-Balad.
Egypt is known in the Muslim world as a country where some of the best Quran reciters have emerged in recent decades.
They include prominent Qaris like Abdul Basit Abdus Samad, Minshawi, Shahat Mohamed Anwar, and Mustafa Esmail.
