Int’l Tajweed Competition Planned in Lebanon
It will organize the competition in cooperation with the country’s Association of Islamic Cultural Teachings.
It has been planned for male Qaris aged 18 to 40 and will be supervised by a group of Quran experts from different countries.
The participants should have mastery over Sowt, Lahn, rules of Quran recitation and Tajweed principles.
They should send a video record of their recitation of the verses listed in the competition guide.
Contenders should mention their names and the country they represent before the recitation at the beginning of the video.
The recording files should be submitted to telegram no. 4496111933924 or emailed to oulaqiblatein@gmail.com by July 7.
In the context of the recitation of the Quran, Tajweed is a set of rules for the correct pronunciation of the letters with all their qualities and applying the various traditional methods of recitation.
