Yemenis at Frontline of Countering Zionist, US Plots: Islamic Jihad Envoy
Addressing the second conference of the World Oppressed Forum, Nasser Abu Sharif described as praiseworthy the resistance of the Yemeni nation against aggressors.
He said the Yemenis began their resistance with strong faith and reliance on God.
Abu Sharif noted that the people of Yemen have stood up against Zionist schemes with bare hands.
The first thing they did was choose “death to America” and “death to Israel” as their main slogans, the Islamic Jihad envoy stated.
He added that the Yemeni resistance has turned into one of the main and pivotal resistance currents in the Muslim world today.
Abu Sharif referred to the treasonous move by some regional regimes to normalize ties with the Zionist regime and said the people of Yemen strongly opposed it.
While they are facing various economic difficulties due to the Saudi-led aggression and blockade, the Yemeni people are at the frontline of supporting the Palestinian people, he went on to say.
The second conference of the World Oppressed Forum was held in Tehran on Tuesday with the participation of Iranian officials and foreign diplomats and figures.
