Imam Ali Shrine Decorated on Hazrat Zahra Birthday
TEHRAN (IQNA) – On the occasion of birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf, Iraq, was decorated with flowers and banners.
A flag on which the phrase “Sayyidat An-Nisa Al-Alameen (the best of all the women in the world)” is printed was also raised on the dome of the mausoleum, according to Imamali.net website.
The Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine is also organizing various religious and cultural programs marking the occasion.
Monday, January 24, will be a public holiday in Iraq on the auspicious occasion.
The 20th day of the month of Jumada al-Thani in the lunar Hijri calendar marks the birth anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
