Special Programs to Mark Demise Anniversary of Abdul Azim Hassani
They will begin with a ceremony on Monday evening in which the mausoleum’s flag will be replaced with a black one.
The servants of the hoy shrine will chorally recite supplications at the ceremony and there will also be elegy recitations by Mohammad Reza Gholamrezazadeh and Seyed Mohammad Rea Nushevar.
Later in the evening, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Hamid Mirbaqeri will deliver a speech.
On Tuesday, the anniversary of the great figure’s demise, the holy shrine in Rey, south of Tehran, will host a mourning ritual which includes a speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Javad Hajalaiakbari, elegy recitations by Hassan Shalbafan and recitation of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani Ziyarah (pilgrimage prayer) by Ali Farahani.
Another programs is slated to be organized there on Tuesday evening.
All of the programs will be broadcast live on the IRIB Quran TV.
Abdul Azim Hassani (AS), also known as Shah Abdol Azim, was a fifth generation descendant of Imam Hassan ibn Ali (AS) and a companion of Imam Muhammad Taqi (AS).
