Quran Translation Added to Curriculum in Pakistan’s Punjab

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Pakistan’s Punjab province has decided to add the translation of the Holy Quran to the high school curriculum.

 

The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Punjab have announced to include Quran Translation to the Matric and Intermediate curriculum, adding that board examinations for the subject will be conducted for classes 9 and 11.

Furthermore, the addition of Quran Translation to the curriculum will also increase the cumulative total marks for Matric exams to 1,200.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board will also develop the curriculum for the classes based on the new subject.
