Pakistan Prime Minister Urges Muslims to Study Seerah of Holy Prophet

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Prime Minister of Pakistan congratulated the whole world, especially the Muslim Ummah, on the onset of the holy month of Rabi Al-Awwal.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif also said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a source of success for the whole humanity both in life as well as the life hereafter.

He urged the Pakistani nation to make a pledge to study the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during the month and practice it to qualify them for the recommendation of the Holy Prophet on the Day of Judgment.

The Holy Prophet was born in Rabi Al-Awwal, the third month in the lunar Hijri calendar.

The 17th day of Rabi al-Awwal is believed by Shia Muslims to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) while Sunni Muslims regard the 12th day of the month as the birthday of the last messenger of God.
