Iraqi Quranic Talents Visit Iran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A number of Iraqi Quranic talents visited Iran in a trip arranged by the Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated to Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine.

According to the website of the Astan, the trip was organized to appreciate the efforts of the Quran activists.

It was also aimed at establishing links with Iranian Quranic institutes, Ali Hadi, an official with the center said.

The Iraqi Quran memorizers visited the holy mausoleums of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad and Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) in Qom, he stated.  

They also attended a number of Quranic, religious and cultural programs, including a large Quranic circle organized at the Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, he added.

Hadi noted that the Iraqi memorizers also met with the head of the holy shrine’s Dar-ol-Quran Center.
