--Women’s factions and non-governmental organizations plan to hold a rally tomorrow, Monday, to show their solidarity with the women and children of Lebanon.
The rally aimed to protest against the Zionists’ atrocities in Lebanon and Palestine will be held in Palestine Square in Tehran.

A statement issued by the above mentioned groups reads:

The Zionist regime, in line with its aggressive and expansionist objectives, has continued an assault against Lebanon for two weeks.

The Israelis who are unable to undermine Hezbollah’s might have resorted to killing innocent and defenseless women and children. The international bodies including the United Nations are turning a blind eye to these atrocities and sporadic efforts to condemn the Zionist regime are vetoed by the United States and Britain.

Under such circumstances we, a number of Iranian women’s factions and non-governmental organizations intend to stage a rally in Tehran on Monday, July 31st to demonstrate our solidarity with the women and children of Lebanon.”

Ms. Tayyebzadeh head of the Center for Women and family Affairs, affiliated to the Presidential office, is to deliver a lecture and Iranian Kids’ message to Lebanese children will be read out at the event.
