--The current administration came to office with cultural slogan and therefore is required to do much more than what it does now as far as Quranic activities are concerned.
This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Jalal Yahyazade representative of Yazd and Meibod at Majlis (Islamic consultative body) who in a talk to IQNA added that promoting Quranic activities accelerates the country’s development in various areas.

“Reducing social deviations especially among the youths depends on the officials’ efforts in fostering the teachings of the holy Quran. That is why the cultural commission of Majlis has allocated a considerable budget for Quranic activities,” he stated.

Hojat-ol-Islam Yahyazade referred to measures by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and said “Although there have been measures taken by the ministry like establishing the Center for Developing and Fostering Quranic Activities, it is expected to make more of the available opportunities to further Quranic ends.”
