--In the holy month of Ramadan, a month when the Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), famous Egyptian Quran masters like Mahmoud Shahhat Mohammad Anvar and Mansour Jom'a Mansour are in Iran reciting verses of the Holy Book in religious gatherings across the country.
Today, the 25 year-old Mahmoud Shahhat Mohammad Anvar who is the son of the late Quran Master Shahhat Mohammad Anvar, is set to attend a Quranic gathering in the southern city of Shiraz while his fellow-countryman Mansour Jom'a Mansour will be hosted by the central province of Yazd.

Reading the Quran in the fasting month of Ramadan, which has been described as "the spring of the Quran" by the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), is highly recommended and many Muslims read the entire Quran during the holy month.
