500,000 Pilgrims to Visit Qom on Nimeh Sha’aban

-- On the auspicious occasion of birthday of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), over 500,000 pilgrims will visit the holy city of Qom.
This is according to political deputy of the governor of Qom Province, who said all of the province’s institutions are prepared to serve the pilgrims who go to Qom to visit the holy shrine of Hazrat Masumeh (SA) and the Jamkaran Mosque.
Speaking at a press conference Monday, Ahmad Hajizadeh also elaborated on the programs and celebrations planned for the glad occasion.
He noted that prominent figures like Ayatollah Emami Kashani and Ayatollah Jannati as well as Majlis speaker Ali Larijani will deliver speeches on the importance of Mahdaviat (awaiting the savior) in the celebrations slated for Tuesday.
Tuesday, July 27, (15th day of Sha’aban on the Islamic Hijri calendar- also called Nimeh Sha’aban) marks the birthday of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent) and is celebrated in Iran and by Shia Muslims around the world.
