Ayatollah Jannati To Lead the Friday Prayers of This Week
-- The congregational Friday prayers of this week on January 7 will be performed by Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, head of the Guardian Council and interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran.
The sermons of the prayer will begin from 11 am. local time following recitation of some Quran verses by Mostafa Yadegari, a top Quran reciter of the country.
Hojjat-ol-Islam Moghaddasi will explain some religious issues and Mahdi Ghazanfari, minister of commerce will present a speech on “Implications of Subsidies Reform in Commercial Fields”.
Asadollah Arabsorkhi will perform eulogies on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Mohammad Baqer (AS) and Imam Musa Kazem (AS).
The Friday prayers will be led by Ayatollah Jannati following the sermons. Adhan (the call for prayers) will be called out at 12:10 pm. local time.
