Quran Olympiad for Students of Quranic Sciences Faculties to Be Held

-- The provincial stage of the Quran Olympiad for Students of Quranic Sciences Faculties is set to take place in May in Meybod, Yazd province.

Director of the University of Quranic Sciences' public relations office, Mehdi Ghobadi, told IQNA that the event would be held in 11 categories covering recitation, memorization, interpretation, Islamic verdicts, and the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Selected contestants will qualify to take part in the national stage of the olympiad, he said, noting that the preliminary stage, which is underway, will come to an end today, March 6.
