It will be the first such event in the new Iranian calendar year (which began on March 21).
Organized by the Quran Culture House, the congress aims to honor the city’s Quranic figures and work out plans for creating an association of Quran activists.
The congress of Tehran’s Quran activists was first held in November 2009 with the presence of internationally-acclaimed Quran reciters, Tawasheeh (religious songs) groups, and Quran scholars. The Imam Sadeq (AS) Mosque, which is located at Palestine Square, has hosted different editions of the congress.
Tomorrow’s event will begin after Maghrib and Isha prayers.
