The first Latvian-language version of Muslims' book was officially launched on May 31.
Popular Latvian composer and politician Imants Kalnins has published the first Latvian translation of the Quran, Baltic Times reported.
According to the report, Kalnins had been working on translating the Quran from Arabic for many years. The first Latvian-language version of the book was officially launched on May 31.
Kalnins, 70, was a member of parliament from 2002-2010.
