Talking to IQNA, Amir Esma’il Azar, university lecturer and researcher in literature said, “Written in a comparative style, the book investigates the influence of Persian literature on literature of other nations.”
He noted that translation of the book has been ordered by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and will be accomplished by Nastaran Nosratzadegan.
The English version of the book will be published in Lebanon and distributed among Iran Cultural Centers in various countries.
According to Azar, the organization has supported the translation project in a bid to disseminate Islamic intellectual and spiritual values and shed light on the effective status of Persian literature in the world.
Iranian stories in Europe and influence of Molawi (Rumi), Hafez, Sa’di, Attar, Nezami and Jami on European literature are some of the themes of the book.
It has been published by Sokhan Publications.
