Morteza Talaee told IQNA that the plan was approved in a meeting of the cultural commissions of provincial capitals’ municipal councils.
“Every 45 days, the commissions hold a meeting,” he noted, adding that the plan for building Quran squares in provincial capitals was proposed and approved in the last session of the commissions.
Talaee explained that based on the plan, Quranic aspects and features would be used in building the square. “Also, around the square, there will be places for presenting Quranic products and holding cultural and Quranic exhibitions.”
He said that such a plan has previously been implemented in the central city of Yazd.
