IQNA Holds Televised Forum on Imam Musa Sadr’s Character

--The International Quran News Agency (IQNA) held the first televised forum on the sociopolitical aspects of Imam Musa Sadr’s character with the Lebanese experts and intellectuals yesterday, February 20, in Beirut.
According to IQNA’s correspondent in Lebanon, Al Manar TV channel, associated with Hizbullah, covered the entire event in which IQNA’s reporters posed their questions.
The impact of Imam Musa Sadr’s thought on different fronts and groups in Lebanon, his role in realization of social justice in society, and his thoughts were among the major topics discussed at the function.
Sadeq Nablusi, an official with Lebanese Jabal Amel Scholars Assembly, and Talal Atrissi, chancellor of Lebanon's University of Social Sciences as well as Muhammad Name Zaghmout , Palestinian Islamic Council's chairman in Lebanon, were the prominent figures who addressed the first section of the program.
Mamoud Haidar, Lebanese intellectual and also head of the Delta Center for Research in Lebanon, addressed the second section and responded some questions regarding Imam Musa Sadr’s role in consolidating relations among Lebanese citizens, who are predominantly followers of monotheistic faiths.
The televised forum was held at 3:00 pm, local time, at the premises of the Iranian cultural office in Lebanon.
