Qom Society of Seminary Instructors, Manifestation of 50 Years of Endeavors
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei described the Society of Seminary Instructors of Qom as the manifestation of 50 years of endeavors and efforts.
In a message to the society’s congress on Thursday, the Supreme Leader said that during the difficult years of fighting with the Shah’s regime, the society relayed the brave voice of the Qom Seminary to everyone.
His Eminence stressed that threats, pressures and banishments failed to discourage the brave members of this clerical institution.
Imam Khamenei regarded holding the congress for honoring half a century of the institution’s endeavors as a suitable move and said the society, that has half a century of political and revolutionary experience, is facing new requirements and new fields.
His Eminence underlined that the spirit of innovation, making endeavors, and acting courageously, along with Ikhlas (pure intention) can help to further strengthen the institution on its path.
The Supreme Leader urged that the society make the best of the assets and the opportunity it has to pave the way for a better tomorrow and realize the Divine promise “See you not how Allah sets forth a parable? - A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky (i.e. very high).” (Holy Quran, 14: 24)

The congress was held in the holy city of Qom to observe 50 years of scientific, cultural and political endeavors by the Society of Seminary Instructors of Qom.
