The two towns had been
under siege for three and a half years but its residents put up a heroic
resistance against Takfiri terrorists and never surrendered.
The residents of Nubbul
and al-Zahra suffered from lack of food and water and there was no electricity
in the two towns.
None of so-called human
rights advocates in the West raised any objection to the three-and-a-half-year blockade
of the towns by Takfiri terrorist groups.
Despite their plight, the
people of Nubbul and al-Zahra never surrendered to terrorists and heroically
put this brutal siege behind them.
On Wednesday, Syria’s
official news agency, SANA, said the Syrian forces conducted the final
operation meant to break the siege on Nubbul and al-Zahra, ending the
three-and-a-half-year blockade on the towns and liberating the residents from
the captivity of militants.

The reports did not
elaborate on the identity of the militants, saying the two towns were under
siege by terrorist organizations.
However, reports have shown that Aleppo’s
northern countryside, where Nubbul and Zahra are located, have been under the control
of the al-Qaeda-linked terror group al-Nusra Front.
Syria has been gripped by
civil war since March 2011 with Takfiri terrorists like ISIL and al-Nusra Front
currently controlling parts of it, mostly in the east.
According to the United
Nations, more than 250,000 people have been killed and one million wounded
during the conflict.
