According to Qaaf news agency, the Dar-ol-Quran center of the holy shrine’s Astan (custodianship) will hold the sessions for teenagers under 18.

The sessions are a part of the Quranic programs of the Astan planned for the holy month of Ramadan.

Teenagers who will recite the Quran in the sessions are the winners of a competition held by the Quran Teaching Center of the Astan to evaluate the recitation skills of those willing to attend the program.

Seyyed Hussein al-Hakim, head of the center and organizer of the competition, said that 33 Quran reciters and memorizers from the holy city of Najaf participated in the competition.

It was held at Imran ibn Shahim Mosque in the northern part of the holy shrine.

A group of Quran experts including Seyyed Meytham al-Hasani, A’la al-Akrawi and Hussein al-Hakim supervised the contest.

11 top Quran reciters were selected for the Tarteel recitation plan in the Ramadan Quranic sessions.
