Quran, Etrat Int’l Exhibition in Mashhad to Continue
The expo has been underway at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) since June 16.
According to the website of the Astan Quds (custodianship of the holy shrine in Mashhad), the exhibition, which had been planned to conclude with the end of the holy month of Ramadan, will run until July 14.
Muslims worldwide celebrated Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, on Wednesday, July 6.
Mohammad Amin Tavakkoli, the Astan’s public relations officer, said the exhibition has been extended due to the warm reception by pilgrims and citizens of Mashhad.
He noted that various institutions affiliated to the Astan Quds have showcased their achievements and activities related to the Quran and Etrat at the exhibition.
Grassroots and governmental institutes as well as 90 publishers from across the country have also presented their Quranic activities and their latest Quranic books in 700 pavilions at the expo.
