Religious, cultural and social officials and figures from different countries, including Russia, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Germany, Serbia and Macedonia, are attending the two-day event.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Religion and the Environment”.
Hossein Sheikholeslam, an advisor to the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is attending the conference from Iran.
He delivered a speech on the first day of the conference, explaining the Islamic Republic’s stances on the importance of the environment in today’s life and the threats to the environment in the world.
