Imam Khomeini Raised Awareness among World Oppressed: Indonesian Qari
In a message sent to IQNA on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) demise, Hassan Dalil Idrous said the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran was the leader of all Muslims and the world’s Mustazafin (dispossessed).
He added that Imam Khomeini was applauded by many freedom-seekers around the world.
Referring to the enmity of the Zionists and disbelievers with Imam Khomeini, Idrous said that according to verse 82 of Surah al-Maidah of the Quran: “You will find that the most people in enmity to the believers are the Jews and idolaters…”, this is proof that Imam Khomeini was on the right path.
Ayatollah Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini, better known as Imam Khomeini, engineered Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, which led to the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran.
Imam Khomeini passed away on June 3, 1989, at the age of 87.
