Egypt’s Al-Azhar Holds Quran, Hadith Exam

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center held a Quran and Hadith examination for its students across the country.

 

The exam was organized in the two sections, one on Quranic knowledge and the other on Hadith, while observing the health protocols, vetogate.com website reported.

Boys and girls studying at Al-Azhar schools took the exam on Wednesday.

A total of 625 committees in different cities supervised the examination.

Al-Azhar is the largest Islamic center of education center and university associated with Al-Azhar Mosque.

It was founded in 972 by the Fatimid Caliphate as a center of Islamic learning.
