TEHRAN (IQNA) – All classes of a Quranic center in Sudan have been equipped with solar panels to provide cheap and renewable energy.

Turkish NGO Humanitarian Relief Foundation has supplied the solar panels, according to Anadolu Agency.

With the light provided by solar energy, the Nur al-Huda Quran Center will now be able to hold classes in the evenings as well.

The center is in the city of Niyala in the South Darfur State.

Solar power is the conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovoltaics, indirectly using concentrated solar power, or a combination.
