Iraqi Qari’s Recitation in Memory of Martyred Resistance Commanders (+Video)
The recitation was part of a Quranic campaign initiated by IQNA dubbed “Iraqi Qaris’ Recitation Gifted to Souls of Triumph Commanders”.
He recited verse 73 of Surah Az-Zumar (39) of the Holy Quran:
The pious ones will be led to Paradise in large groups. Its gates will be opened to them when they are brought nearby and its keepers will say, "Welcome! Peace be with you. Enter the gates of Paradise to live therein forever".
Lieutenant General Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Iraqi commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Units, were assassinated along with their companions in a US terror drone strike authorized by President Donald Trump near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
The two commanders were highly popular because of the key role they played in eliminating the US-sponsored Daesh Takfiri terrorist group in the region, particularly in Iraq and Syria.
