President Hails Iranian Nation’s Resistance against Trump’s Economic Terrorism
Speaking at a cabinet session on Wednesday, Rouhani also hailed the patience and resistance of the Iranian nation against the economic terrorism of the Donald Trump administration, saying those who wanted to topple Iran’s establishment in 3 months are now being toppled disgracefully.
The masterminds of the maximum pressure policy against Iran are being toppled and their political life is over forever, Rouhani went on to say.
The patience of the Iranian people, judiciousness of the Leader, and efforts by the administration and cooperation by other branches of power in the country brought about Iran’s victory, he added.
Iran has been under a series of illegal sanctions imposed by Washington since 2018 when Trump withdrew his country from the 2015 nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
The US unleashed the so-called maximum pressure campaign and targeted the Iranian nation with the “toughest ever” restrictive measures.
