Pope’s Historic Visit to Iraq
TEHRAN (IQNA) – In his first trip since the pandemic hit the world, Pope Francis is on a historic visit to Iraq.
The Pope arrived in Baghdad on Friday and held talks with Iraqi officials, including President Barham Salih.
The pontiff also met with top Shia cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani on the second day of his trip Saturday.
