School Student Dies while Reciting Quran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A school student in Saudi Arabia passed away while reciting the Holy Quran.
According to Al-Bayan website, the girl was reciting verses from the Holy Book at Ta’allam Quran Education Institute in Riyadh.
Sharifa bint Musaffar al-Qahtani’s teacher and classmates were listening to her recitation when she suddenly died of a heart attack.
Many on social media have expressed grief over the death, praying that God will bestow peace, mercy and blessings on her soul.
In 2017, a prominent Indonesian Qari died during a televised reading on the Quran.
Sheikh Ja’far Abdulrahman, a revered Indonesian Quran reciter, passed away while he was reading out verses during an official ceremony.
He suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed during reading verses from the Sacred Book’s Surah Al-Mulk.
