Quran Interpretation Course Launched in Lebanon’s Biqaa Province
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quranic course has been launched in Biqaa province in eastern Lebanon that features lessons on Tafseer (Quran interpretation).
The Tawjih and Irshad (guidance and counselling) Society of Lebanon, Baalbek branch, has organized the online course.
Named “Spring of Hearts”, it is for men and boys and has been attended by more than 50 Quran learners.
The classes are held via WhatsApp three days a week and will last for three weeks.
Quran expert Mahdi Abu Zayd is the instructor and Sayed Hassan Murtada supervises the course.
The classes are aimed at familiarizing the leaners with views of Quran interpreters and methods of Tafseer as well as subjects on which interpreters have different opinions.
Founded 35 years ago, the Tawjih and Irshad Society has 21 branches in different parts of Lebanon, including Beirut, Tyre, Baalbek, Hermel, and Nabatieh.
