Iranian Qaris Hold Quranic Circle in Iraq’s Nasiriyah
The circle was held in the capital of Dhi Qar Governorate on the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
Quran memorizer Shoja Zavidat and international qari Seyed Jassem Mousavi performed in the session.
Ibrahim Fallah Tabasim Chehreh, Yousef Izadi, Raad Alboghbish, Saeed Parvizi, Seyed Jassem Mousavi, Seyed Foad Shokavi, Vahid Vakili, Seyed Mostafa Hosseini, Hadi Esfidani and Shoja Zavidat are members of the convoy who arrived in Baghdad last week.
The group is due to hold 90 Quranic circles in Baghdad, Wasit, Maysan, Dhi Qar, Ninawa, and Diyala governorates till the martyrdom anniversary of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani on January 3.
General Soleimani, al-Muhandis, and a number of their entourage were killed in a strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of January 3, 2020.
The White House and the Pentagon claimed responsibility for the assassinations, saying the attack was carried out at the direction of then US President Donald Trump.
