Quran Teachers Training Course Underway in Karbala

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine has launched a Quran teachers training course.

According to the website of the Astan, 47 individuals have taken the course, dubbed “Interactive teacher”.

It started a few days ago at the center’s headquarters in Karbala, said Safa al-Silawi, an official with the center.

He added that the course is being held in-person in the morning and afternoon sessions for eight days.

Silawi noted that the participants are the Quran teachers of the center’s branches in the governorates of Karbala, Baghdad and Basra.

They are given lessons on new methods of teaching the Quran, strategic planning, the teaching methods of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and computerized teaching, among others, he added.

The Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine has implemented extensive programs in recent years with the aim of promoting new Quran teaching methods, using new technologies in teaching the Quran, identifying and training Quranic talents, and developing international Quranic activities.
