In a message to Jafar Miadfar, Aref expressed his appreciation and gratitude for Miadfar’s efforts and valuable services.

He also hailed the efforts of the Ministry of Health, Medical Education and Health Services in serving the pilgrims of Arbaeen.

“The magnificent epic of Arbaeen is undoubtedly the greatest unifying conference of the Islamic Ummah in the world, which every year reveals a new manifestation of religious zeal, human sacrifice and the progressive civilization (rooted in) the school of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS),” he said in the message.

The First Vice President also emphasized that this year’s Arbaeen procession coincided with the bravery of a nation that created another epic in the recent 40-day unequal war inspired by the Ashura epic.

Arbaeen is a religious event observed by Shia Muslims on the fortieth day after the Day of Ashura, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the third Shia imam.
