Hojat-ol-Islam Akhavian, the educational and cultural director of the Office of the Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, said this school aims to improve the scientific and technical abilities of the clergy of the convoys and increase their readiness to respond to the needs and diverse questions of the pilgrims.

Referring to the differences in the needs and questions of the pilgrims, he stated, “Given the pilgrims have different conditions and needs, the clergy of the Hajj convoys must have the necessary scientific and technical abilities to respond to the current issues.”

Accordingly, he added, this year, for the first time, a Hajj Scientific School will be formed for clerics who will be sent to Hajj each year, and one of its central programs is holding specialized meetings in the field of issues related to and required for Hajj rituals.
