US Civil Rights Group Names Two Jewish Organizations as Anti-Muslim Extremist Entities

IQNA – Citing the amplification of anti-Muslim bigotry, the US’s largest Muslim civil rights organization said it is adding two major Jewish advocacy organizations to its list of extremist entities.

A protest rally against Islamophobia

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, on Thursday announced that it has designated both the Jewish American Summit and Republican Jewish Coalition as anti-Muslim extremist organizations after each entity hosted separate events this past weekend that platformed known anti-Muslim bigots as they expressed hatred of Muslims.

In a statement, CAIR Research and Advocacy Director Corey Saylor said:

“Hate is unacceptable. That is a simple line to draw. For years, the organizers of the Jewish American Summit and the Republican Jewish Coalition have decided crossing that line when it comes to Muslims is acceptable. We are therefore issuing a well-documented designation of these groups as anti-Muslim extremists for knowingly platforming speakers who have expressed the vilest hatred of the American Muslim community and Islam itself.”

In each of the Republican Jewish Coalition’s last three annual events, organizers have elected to platform anti-Muslim extremists. In 2026, this culminated in event attendees cheering and applauding a speaker who said he did not want Muslims in America and likened them to donkeys.

Video preserved by Middle East Eye shows 2026 event speaker Mosab Hassan Youssef telling the audience, “I as an American. I as a taxpayer. I don’t want Muslims in America. Get the f**k out of the United States. Go back to the s**tholes where you came from and reform your own countries. This country is perfect and it’s much better without your Islamic belief system.” This elicited cheers and applause from the audience.

Fellow 2026 speaker Dr. Gad Saad frequently alleges that Islam and Muslims are inherently or uniquely violent, manipulative and devious. …. He also frequently alleges that Islam is an existential threat to the U.S. and/or the “West.”

Each of the anti-Muslim extremists featured at the Jewish American Summit, including Youssef, Saad, Bill Maher, Ambassador Mike Huckabee, and Dennis Prager, have public and lengthy records of expressing hatred of Islam or Muslims.

Separately, the Republican Jewish Coalition has also hosted anti-Muslim extremists, including their “longtime friend” Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) who endorses destroying all “mainstream Muslims” in what would be a genocidal religious cleansing of the United States. Repeat coalition guest speaker Sid Rosenberg has compared black female athletes to animals and said one black female tennis player “had a better chance of posing for National Geographic than Playboy.”

Contradicting its own correct opposition to antisemitism in the Republican Party, a month after Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) made a remark about Jewish Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA) nose, which Jacobs called “very antisemitic,” the coalition hosted Mace and praised her “powerful speech and highlighted the importance of embracing faith.”

Saylor also noted that if the organizational sponsors of the Jewish American Summit and the Republican Jewish Coalition do not repudiate the hatred at these events, it may be necessary to apply the designations to them as well.
