In a decree, IRIB Deputy Director Ahmad Pahlavanian appointed Ghasrizadeh as the new head of the Quran TV.

He replaces Hojat-ol-Islam Hossein Natanzi in this position.

“In the intellectual and social fields, Islamic Iran has always enjoyed the blessings of the school of the revelation and Wilayat (guardianship) throughout history, and with the advent of the Islamic Revolution, it has entered a new stage of Quranic life,” Pahlavanian said in the decree.

At this time when the Islamic Revolution and the Resistance Front are in direct confrontation with the front of falsehood, we should look to the lofty horizon of adhering to pure Islam more than ever, based on the teachings of our late Imam and the martyred Leader and the path that Leader of the Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei has clarified, he added.

He said the Quran TV should strive to fulfill this mission with appropriate planning, artistic and creative designs, and special attention to the recitation of the Holy Quran and the development of Quranic programs, especially for teenagers and young people, relying on the teachings of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), utilizing the capacity of the reciters, memorizers, and teachers of the Quran, as well as responding to the needs of the audience in the field of Quran and education.

“It is hoped that by relying on God Almighty and seeking the help of Imam Zaman (AS), by utilizing the valuable capacities available and employing specialized and committed forces, the ground will be prepared for the expansion of the culture of familiarity with the Quran and the promotion of the media position of the Quran TV…,” he went on to say.
