The Scientific Quranic Assembly of the shrine’s Astan (custodianship) organized the event with the participation of the students taking part in the tenth edition of the “Amir al-Qurra” national project.

Ali al-Fatimi, one of the officials of the Quranic assembly, said this gathering was held with the participation of a number of reciters and students participating in the Amir al-Qurra project and reciters of the Abbasid holy shrine.

A group of pilgrims to the holy shrine o were also present at the spiritual program, he noted.

Referring to the various programs of the national Amir al-Qurra project, al-Fatimi said this project includes a series of educational programs and activities that, in addition to Quranic education, also pursue promotion of moral and educational teachings, and the “Arsh of Recitation” gathering is one of the programs of this project, which will also be held next week.
