The association stressed in a statement that protecting Lebanon will not be achieved by relying on American promises and guarantees, but rather through the unity of the Lebanese people and their adherence to their sources of power, primarily the resistance, which, along with the army and the people, has formed the nation’s true bulwark against the occupation and its ambitions, Al-Manar reported.

The statement added: In the face of the dangerous escalation of the Zionist enemy, which continues to massacre our people in the south, the Lebanese have the right to ask: Where is the “framework agreement” that the Lebanese authorities concluded with the Zionist enemy? Where are the American guarantees that were provided in this regard? If agreements and guarantees are unable to protect civilians, stop aggression, and preserve Lebanon’s sovereignty, what is their value?

The association called on the Lebanese government, given the proven ineffectiveness and failure of this approach, to review its options and strive for reconciliation with its people and return to the formula that has been successful in protecting Lebanon and defending its sovereignty and dignity, namely the golden triangle: the army, the people, and the resistance.

“Simply issuing statements of condemnation and denunciation is no longer acceptable in the face of the scale of the crimes committed,” the statement said.

It called on the government to take effective political, diplomatic, and practical steps to deter the enemy, protect its citizens, and support Lebanon’s right to resist occupation and defend its territory and sovereignty.

“The continued Zionist aggression once again emphasizes that the enemy only understands the language of force.”

In another statement, the association condemned the decision of the United States and Europe against the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the International Atomic Energy Agency’s report on the country’s peaceful nuclear program, calling it a continuation of the policy of political pressure and blackmail and an attempt to abuse international institutions to serve the interests of the United States and the West.
