Iranian Big Shot Filmmaker Passes Away

- Senior Iranian film director, Rasool Mollaqolipoor, hit by a brain stroke that caused his demise in the city of Noshahr, 124 miles north of Tehran, yesterday morning.
Mollaqolipoor who had been on holiday in Noshaher, severely hit by a brain stroke in early morning at around 1 am and unfortunately passed away before the medical team arrived at his friend's.

The late filmmaker who was a prolific artist contributed to Iranian movie industry by making lots of hits featuring Iran-Iraq war including "Burnt Generation", "Help Me", "Paternal Farm", "A Trip to Chazzabeh", and his recent masterpiece "M Like Mother".

Mollaqolipoor had just finished shooting a film in the holy city of Karbala, in Iraq titled "Six Corners of Heaven" with theme of how the Imam Hussein's shrine, Shiites' third imam and the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), had been developed.
