Iran Quranic Community Pays Tribute to the Late Imam

-- Iranian Quranic community on Sunday paid tribute to the late Imam Khomeini and issued a communiqué with the aim of renewing allegiance with the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran on the verge of the victory anniversary of the Revolution.
A great number of prominent reciters, memorizers and activists in the field of the holy Quran as well as the deputy head of the Students Quranic Activities Organization, and an advisor to the Organization of Owqaf and Charity Affairs participated in the event.
The Quran Committee of the headquarters for organizing the celebrations to mark the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran (the Ten-Day Dawn), headed by the Dar-ol-Quran Organization this year, organized the visit to Imam Khomeini mausoleum. The participants also went on pilgrimage to the shrine of Hazrat Abdul-Azim in Rey, Tehran province.
Part of the aforementioned communiqué reads: big individual and social movements have roots in the holy Quran, and the astonishing power of its verses can easily evolve the spirit and soul of human beings.
Paying attention to the visible and invisible meanings of the holy Quran is obvious in Karbala uprising -led by Imam Hossein (AS)-, the statement also said.
