-- The establishment of a digital ًQuranic library featuring Quran sciences, exegesis, recitation, concepts and Quranic arts is considered the most important innovation of the New Iranian Year (started March 20, 2008) in Quranic fields, an international arbiter of the holy Quran said.
Mohammad-Reza Sotoudehnia also told IQNA that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran can implement the project of establishing a digital library as the most important innovation in Quranic affairs, which can flourish Quranic community in the Islamic system.
Sotoudehnia, who is also a master in teaching the holy Quran, added that satisfactory and innovative efforts were made in Quranic activities last year, expecting more attempts in this regard in the current Iranian year.
He further noted that important libraries in Arab countries particularly in Egypt are difficult to access because of the far distance between Iran and the African state.
There are some digital libraries, which only provide researchers with manuscripts in exchange for money, he said, adding that the establishment of a Quranic digital library will resolve all problems in this respect.
