2nd International 'Imam Ali' Conference to Be Held in Turkey

--2nd Int'l 'Imam Ali' Conference is slated to be held in Theology College of Nohum Eilul University of Izmir, Turkey in late fall.
The conference aims to review Imam Ali's (AS) character and this glorious Imam's status among Sunni, Shia and Alavi Muslims.
Researchers participating in this conference will discuss the following themes: Imam Ali (AS) as a historical character, his life in the holy city of Makkah, the holy Prophet's (PBUH) status in Imam’s life, his youth, life in the holy city of Medina, matrimonial life and marriage with Hazrat Zahra (SA), as well as Imam Ali from the following perspectives: politics, military, science, worshiping rituals, social communications, and human rights.
Those interested in attending the conference can send abstracts of their papers by June 20th and the full texts by September 20th to the Theology College of Nohom Eilul University of Izmir using the following e-mail address: in.ali.symp2009@gmail.com.
