ICRO to Hold Special Programs on Occasion of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) Birthday

--Special ceremonies will be held Sunday in 28 countries marking the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), daughter of the holy Prophet (PBUH).
Organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the ceremonies are aimed at introducing the lofty status of Hazrat Zahra to the world, clarifying the status of women in Islam, and highlighting the achievements of Muslim women in international arenas.
The ceremonies will include lectures by scientific figures as well as papers on the character of Hazrat Zahra (SA). ICRO’s women and family affairs department will dispatch women scholars to Ethiopia, Ghana, Turkmenistan, Indonesia, Sudan, Malaysia, Thailand, Tajikistan, and Bangladesh to attend conferences and workshops and introduce the Sirah (way of life) of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) to the people of these countries.
Introducing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s accomplishments in women’s fields, publishing the life story of successful Iranian Muslim women in Persian, Arabic and English, and presenting papers on ‘Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra in View of Sunni Muslims’ are among other programs planned by the ICRO for the occasion.
