-- The Center for Computer Research at Isfahan’s Islamic Seminary has produced over 35 software packages related to Islamic sciences.
This is according to the center’s director Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ahamd Sajjadi. He told IQNA that among the most successful software products of the center were the comprehensive Nahj-ol-Balaqa Encyclopedia, which includes 250 books featuring translations and commentary on the Nahj-ol-Balaqa, and the comprehensive encyclopedia of Sahife Sajjadiye containing the text of 220 books.
“Madinat-ol-Elm on the character of the holy Prophet (PBUH), Bab-ol-Elm on the character of Imam Ali (AS), Reyhane on the character of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and Basa’er and Amsal, in which 54 Quranic parables are presented in animation and photos, were also successful software packages produced by the center,” he said.
“On average, some 200 million rials is spent for making each of these products,” Hojat-ol-Islam Sajjadi noted, adding that 80 percent of the center’s budget comes from the income generated by selling the software products.
The Center for Computer Research was established at Isfahan’s Islamic Seminary in 1998.
