Rey to Host Nat’l Quran Recitation Session

--A national Quran recitation session is to be held on June 2 in the Hazrat-e-Abdolazim-e-Hassani’s Mausoleum in Rey.
Mehdi Naderi, head of the Tehran Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization’s Quranic affairs department told IQNA that internationally known Quran reciter Mohammad Reza Pourzargari is to attend the event, which is held concurrent with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and Imam Khomeini (RA).

Quran activist Abbas Salimi as well as Quran reciters Masoud Nouri, Saeed Rahmani, and Mostafa Yadegari are also to attend the session to recite verses from the holy Quran, he noted.

Choral Quran recitation and Quran competitions are among the programs to be held on the sideline of the session, he added.

The session will be recorded and broadcast live on the Quran Radio channel and later on will be screened on the Quran TV channel.

It will be organized by the Dar-ol-Quran Center in cooperation with the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry, Quran Radio, and Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.
