--A series of forums on "Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS)" were held in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh known as a seat of Shi'ism and the epitome of Shia culture in India.
The sessions were organized by Mortazaviah Center, aiming to promote cultural and Islamic values in the Indian Muslim community.

Hosted by Mortezavi Mosque located at Rekabganj, the 5-day event started on Dec 26 and concluded yesterday, Dec 30.

"Seeking refuge to the Holy Quran as well as Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) can guarantee redemption both in Heaven and on Earth for mankind," said Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Abedi attending the 4th session of the forum.

Referring to Hadith Thaqalain whose authenticity has been acknowledged by both Shia and Sunni scholars, he quoted the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) as saying the Hadith: "I leave among you two things of high estimation. If you hold on to them you will never be led astray. One of these two things is weightier than the other. One of these two is the Book of God which is a link between the earth and the heaven. The second one is my family, my ahl al-bayt. These two trusts will not separate from each other till the Day of Judgment."
