Quran Activists Pay Visit to Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Mausoleum

-- The country’s Quranic community attended the mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini (RA) yesterday morning and renewed allegiance to his aspirations.
They also laid a wreath at the mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini (RA).
The visit took place before noon, on the eve of victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. A number of Quran scholars, experts, Quran activists as well as reciters and memorizers were present at the ceremony.
Mehdi Qarasheikhlu, Head of the Dar-ol-Quran; Ali Akbar Tupchi head of the Quran Cultural Center; Musavi Baladeh, veteran Quran activist; and Bahrololum, communications and technology deputy of the Dar-ol-Quran, were among those attending the event.
Speaking to IQNA on the sidelines of the visit, Mehdi Qarasheikhlu stressed that the Islamic Revolution was based on the teachings of the Quran and that the country’s Quranic community played a major role in the revolution.
He expressed hope that such events would help to further develop Quranic activities in the country.
